im 16 and live in stevenage and im in desperate need of a job, ive sent cvs everywhere but still no luck,,,,, any ideas?

Fair play to you wanting to get out and earn a living!

At this stage it's a bit of a numbers game I'm afraid, just keep sending out CV's and make a list of what you are good at.

When writing an application letter dig into the advert and try and structure your application letter to include/mirror some of the things they want..but be honest!

You don't say what sort of job you are looking for, so i presume any job? and i presume your cv is not that great at 16, but i my be wrong, needless to say it is a very hard time for many to get jobs but you do have age on your side, do what i did a very long time ago and present yourself in person at their door and ask if there are any jobs that way they see you first hand and will respect you for trying. good luck, and don't give up tyring no matter how many say no, if you have a printer run your name and address of to give to the ones you visit.

Have you tried the supermarkets, boots, whsmiths, with the supermarkets and boots check they're websites for jobs as the stores dont have a list of whats available as everything is online
