What rights do I have?
7 Answers
Hi there, I have been working in the same school for just over 3 years now and when I got the job it was classed as temporary (in the first instance). Every year so far I have been given a new contract and told that the following year I should be made permanent, but this never materializes!
I am VERY grateful to have my job and love it, but I am finding that every year I'm just let down again and feel that I've committed so much to my employer with no commitment coming back to me.
I don't want to look for another job, but I'm wondering what rights at this stage of my employment?
Thanks in advance x

If they got rid of me and put someone in my place it would be a strong tribunal case! Well I don't think they intend on getting rid, I'm good at my job and there is a definite need for my job, so not too worried, but I'm glad I know my rights though!
