If you limit yourself to one particular job it is always going to be hard to find work. try looking for work where your qualifications are useful like warehouse jobs in general or anything where a forklift licence is useful.
The forklift type im talking about is construction machinery, Been a hod carrier for 14years and desperately want to get off the hod and on to the forks it's easier work and the moneys a lot better this is why i saved up the money to pay for the CPCS I didn't think for two minutes id have any trouble finding work... How wrong was i !
Go for any job on a site that has this type of forklift and let them know you have the licence. Chances are a vacancy will come up, possibly an operator off sick, and you can step in. They would rather give the job to someone they know than have to advertise.
I did a similar thing, I am a qualified laboratory chemist. I took a job on the shop floor of a big company that had a lab,I told them I was qualified, after a while a vacancy in the lab came up and I got the job. It was to my benefit as i knew the factory and how it all worked so I was in with a big advantage over someone from outside.
