Alumni departments look after ex-students - the Open University Alumni department gets in touch with me regularly about postgraduate activities. Campaign - not sure.

This is the department that raises funds for the university.

Every fundraising activity is called a campaign and many involve the alumni. The university keep in contact with as many alumni (past attendees) as possible and the better the relationship they can build with them, the more they will give in donations to the university.
