90 day review now 30 days LATE! What to do? HELP!

I recently joined a company that represented themseves a an innovative, class act in the fire protection industry.

I basically created my own hiring position and was brought onboard for less money than I NEEDED. They met me half way to be reviewed at 90 days. It was mutual that we would "try each other on for 90 days".

The owners (2 brothers) hired me and run the place. Once hired, I found that I REALLY work in a department of 3 people. I am the only salesman. I get no support and my feedback falls on deaf ears. I am lucky to even get a response to inter company emails.

I have been promised this 90 day meeting on at least 5 different occasions and it is now 30 days late.

I need this extra money and feel overall that I am left to the wolves by the consistant lack of attention to what I am trying to sell and my feedback.

What to do with the 90 day lack of review????? Overall look at this company????

Hand your notice in. Simple as that, it will do one of two things either they will act positively and see that your serious which will be good, or they won't and in that case you will know what sort of company it really is (i.e. a bad one).

A good boss would have seen the problems and dealt with them, an average on might not but will deal with it when they know how serious you take it, a bad one will simply react badly.

If your having trouble getting something that was agreed then it will be a nightmare getting anything else in the future.

And just to back it up I did exactly that, was told a load of lies at my interview, the job was totally different to what they said it was and it was pretty obvious things weren't going to chance so I handed my notice in.

I totally agree, hand in your notice. Pronto!!!!

It may be the prompt they need to sort out all the promises they made. If not, you are better off out of there.

Sounds like they are just pushing their luck to see how much they can get out of you for nothing.
