Second interview at mcdonalds? HELP?
9 Answers
I recently had a group interview with 4 other people at mcdonalds, and i got a call 2 days later saying that i had been successful and i have to go in for a second interview on wednesday. What do they do at a second interview? What questions do they ask? What are my chances of getting the job?

Don't know your age but here are a few pointers.
Look smart, shirt and tie, possibly trousers not jeans with holes in. Be polite. Don't just answer questions by 'yes' or 'no' as they will want to see good communication skills. Google Macdonalds, read up a bit about the background. They may ask about how you use your time, what hobbies do you follow. Have you any 1st Aid qualifiactions.
Are you flexible re working hours.
Good Luck.

If you've had previous jobs, make sure you have good reasons for why you left (just quitting doesn't go down well at interviews as they are usually looking to hire people who stay as it costs a lot to train up new staff).
Have an answer to why you want to work at McDonalds - you obviously do otherwise you wouldn't be asking our advice - what do you aspire to be - perhaps you could respond that you understand that McDonalds offers a chance to progress a career and you would be looking to perhaps in time gain responsibility for a section (part of the kitchen) and eventually, once you know how a McDonalds branch operates and have demonstrated competence/integrity, look to enlist in their management training.
Good luck!

A second interview means that they think you have the potential to be a good employee. They will ask questions to get an idea of you as a person - why you want the job, why you think you'd be good at it, how good you are at working as part of a team, etc.
furrypusscat has given you some excellent advice about doing research and what to wear for the interview. I hope it goes well.
