I'd suggest you learnt how to spell the name of the county first! :)
You will probably need to have completed at least your six months post qualifying mentorship period first. Australia always seem to be looking for qualified nursing staff, but obviously the more experience you have the more chance there is of getting work. Often they are looking for staff with experience of specialist nursing. You didn't say which branch you are on so I can't be more specific.

You will have to apply for a work visa and be registered with the Australian equivalent of the NMC. An internet search for the words Nursing in Australia will yield lots of info.
Jock, Think you will find that Australia is a country not a county! :)
you will need some post grad exp before they will accept u, probably 12 months, i would imagine. good luck!

:) Hoisted by my own petard! That'll learn me for being a sarky git!
Where's autrailia?
Sorry, posted above before reading others...
I think Jock  you will find it will 'teach' rather than 'learn' you. ;)

Jock, I think you meant it will 'teach' and not 'learn' you to be a sarcastic git...( if you find being correct all the time so important) and yes it will  ;)
