Student Accomadation

im 27 so Id be classed as a mature student, but I really dont understand how student accomadation works! Theres a university in the next city where I live so i could catch a train, but what if i wanted to move to a different part of england all together, how does student accomodation work then?

also, Im classed as disabled, does that make any difference? Im applying via UCAS but everything on there seems so confusing, can anyone help?

If you go to a university open day they will explain about available accommodation and show you some on a tour of a the university.
And when you are offered a place you will be given details of accommodation choices.

And wherever you go, unless you stay in your home, it will have to be paid for. Based on your household income and circumstances you will either get a full, part or no maintenance grant or loan. Lots of info on the net, eg https://www.gov.uk/student-finance/overview

Most Unis have a disability officer, I would contact them, apart from a web search, then start with the University Registrar for guidance to the appropriate resource.
