pardon???

Is the question - "Why did you choose to persue a career in law?" or "How does a legal career compare to other career options you have considered?" or "Why did you choose to study law?" ?

Either way - you'll need to be a lot more eloquent to get into a law firm.  And a lot more polite.

I'm sitting here with a pile of application form answers in front of me - working through hours of my work trying to phrase my answers perfectly in the hope of getting my dram job.

The answer to any of the 3 questions I suggested is a very personal answer and if you just copy and paste an answer that someone on here supplies, I guarantee that if you even make it to interview, you'll make a fool of yourself because peddling other people's answers as your own is stupid - you always get found out.

If you're applying for training contracts you're already 2 years through a law degree at the least (or 3 years through another degree) - you should be able to phrase things like this without too much of a struggle.

Draw on your own opinions and abilities and you'll be fine.  If you think you can do the job you want, then you're smart enough to answer the questions on your own.

There are some evil questions on these forms, "why law?" is one of the easy ones.  A bit of focus and you'll get through it!

*Typo correction - pursue not persue!!!
