How do i get my o level certificates back from 31 years ago, which have been lost.

A pretty good guess is that you can't, unless you know the examining bodies for each exam and can somehow manage to contact them, if they're still around, and they have miraculously kept records going back 31 years or more.

Why on earth do you need them? Employers ask for O level results from school leavers because they have nothing else to go on, but you've got 31 years of experience since then. If a potential employer is asking to see the certs then you have to wonder what they'll be like to work for.
Anyway, with todays technology it should be fairly easy to supply them with a suitable document from a long vanished examination board. :)

I was asked to provide my certificates from 1973! Try contacting AQA (Assessment & Qualification Alliance)on the above address, as they keep records from all examining boards, they supplied my prospective employer with the records.
