What tools and equipments do you carry for your job? Let's say marketing, auditor and more. What is the one tool that you use the most often? And what tools do people use last time for marketing, auditor and more? For example, like accounting. People last time would most probably use abacus before the calculator was invented.

I own and operate a school bus company, I carry a big hammer.

I always carry scissors, needle and thread; multi-bit screwdriver; usb pendrives, one with content, one with a backup Ubuntu OS ready to load; library cards that let me in from Stafford to Carlisle (Ha!); spare spectacles and contact lenses.
I find that since phones got cleverer I don't need to carry a watch, a calculator, or a separate camera.

I work in IT and apart from the obvious tech equipment I use, the two things I always carry with me are a pen and writing pad. When visiting other staff members/meetings it's critical to get everything written down. If I have time, I usually review the notes with the other person to double check.
