Flexible working
Hello People,
I am thinking of approaching my Personnel manager to ask for Flexible working hours. Does anyone or can anyone please tell me what current legislation is with regards flexible working? I have a strong indication that the company will oppose it.

Your employer should consider your application if you have children under 6 and will have to have a strong case to refuse it. There are some jobs which flexible working hours will just not be able to accomodate.

Most jobs involving customer service, or where the postholder is the sole person doing the job, or where the hours are fixed to meet a demand at a certain time will find that such requests are considered but refused.
