New Job
5 Answers
I've been offered a job, but the hours don't fit in with my kids school run. I was offered the job last week, and told them I accept. Now it's difficult because the school cannot accommodate my working times, they have closed down the after school tea club. The hours are 9.30-6, long days. I now I have to decline the job, but dnt know what to say. The manager asked me to drop her an email in terms of a start date, should I just email her explaining my situation and reason to decline. When I applied the hours hadn't been specified on the advert. I feel so bad.

She replied saying the cannot accommodate the hours I requested at the moment, but will keep my details on file for future. I didn't ha e anyone to help woth school run, short term my friend would have done it, but long term would have been an issue. Thank you all for your help. X
