Writing Feedback Documents

Hi,
I have just recently completed a feedback session with a work colleague. As part of the Exercise I need to write about the following:

I am honestly having trouble writing about this, can anyone put me in the right direction (websites, how to start this?)

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you google observation feedback you will get some idea of what is out there. When thinking about what to put, try to get some headings to work with and then exoand upon them. For example you could start with: Accuracy, Body Language and Communication - how will did they manage to do these things? How could they have done better and what did they get right? Think of simple things you can feedback on - for example if I watched a teacher giving a class what things did they do well and what could they improve on? They may have given a really good explanation of why Hitler wanted to invade Poland but gave very little chance for anyone to ask questions, which may have involved the whole class more, or they may have had no discipline and let the class talk amongst each other - you could then say the teaching was very good in itself but the fact that the class was left to itself and was not involved meant the teaching did not have the impact it could have had. Just start with 3 things you can feedback on and I am sure others will pop up. Feedback should do just a few key things though - tell the other person what your observations were - what went wee - what could have gone better and possible solutions or answers to those things that could have gone better. Remember feedback is quite personal so don't make the person think totally messed up and don't try to sound like you know it all and they don't. Concentrate on the key items and briefly mention other issues. Hope this helps.
However, i may have looked at feedback a bit too much in my answer above - by looking solely at your observations, it is asking for your views on what happened. Eg I observed that the teaching left little time for others to get involved - I observed that the person was using good listening skills, gave accurate responses etc. It may help people answering you if you put a bit more information about what you were feedbacking on ;-)
