working at TESCOS

can anyone tell me what jobs are available on the nightshift in a 24 hr Tescos - also, are they flexible about shift hours ? I would like to do a 4 day week perhaps 10 - 4 o'c ? finally does anyone know what the hourly pay is and if there are any other type of benefits ie. discount off shopping etc .. many thanks

i have never worked at tescos, but i have done similar at asda 24 hours, its all very similar im led to believe...

at asda i could choose my hours and my days so long as it wasnt taking the pee too much....the nightshift rate there was about 7.50 p/h...and they gave a discount card which was worth 10 to 15% off your weekly shop

most of the night work is stacking shelves, but if its 24 tescos there would be option to work on tils....the petrol station if they have one.

is shelf stacking a killer, currently work as a care assistant on a 7 hr shift and my back and legs are dead by the end of the day, lol

dont want to jump from the frying pan into the fire !!!!

Have you not thought of contacting your nearest Tescos to find out. I would imagine by now they have taken on a lot of staff to cover the Christmas period. Good luck anyway

am thinking of looking properly in jan - feb, not particularly over xmas .. have phoned and asked instore and they just pointed me towards filling the application form, wont discuss wages, hours etc .. thanks anyway
