Why Might He Not Have Replied To My Email?

I've emailed this a guy to ask when would I know if I am successful for a job I went for last Tuesday and I haven't heard from him when he said if I have any questions to message and I still haven't heard back.

Did you send the email at the weekend, after work on Friday? He may not look at his emails when he isn't at work.

Am not sure why your so desperate to know on a Sunday and ask us rather than wait to see what Monday bring's. Does a few days matter.... have you got other jobs your waiting to accept/decline

He may have been off on friday and catching up on his emails and not got to yours yet.
He may be waiting for an update from HR
You didn't get the job and its not his job to tell you so he is waiting for HR to tell you.
He meant do contact us we will contact you.

Take your pick there are many many reasons why he has not responded to you

Had an email back from another member of staff and he off for few days

Reply with 'I look forward to hearing from 'x' when he returns - just to add that I am really interested in the job being offered and in working for your company and I believe that I can add value.' or words to that effect.
