Is It Ok To Ask If The Job Includes Bank Holiday?

Ask your employer to specify your working hours and days. Get this information in writing.

If they offer you the job they should tell you your working hours and holiday entitlement. You might be required to work some weekends and Bank holidays on a rotation basis. Do not contact them to ask about this before you are offered the job. Was this not discussed at interview?

Only ask if its a deal breaker... but theres only 8 bank/public holidays normally in a year and none after next week for nearly 15 weeks ... and you may not stay that long if you have other interviews as often as you have been

It doesnt seem fair for you to expect your new colleagues to do all the unsociable hours. Work it out between you and things will go much more smoothly.

It can be very difficult for some people to take a job that includes working bank holidays - single parents who don't have a ready supply of child minders, for instance. If that is you, it is vital that you know in advance so you can refuse the job.
