The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme does not feature in the UCAS tariff. (i.e. officially, there are no UCAS points given for holding a DoE award).

When considering applicants for admission, some university admissions staff start by looking at the 'official' UCAS score for each applicant and then add on additional points to take into account the candidate's achievements and experiences. Most universities which use this system will allocate points for DoE awards but, because this is discretionary, the number of points awarded will vary from one university to another.
