In my job I've put in my availability I can work Monday to Saturday but they are asking if I can work one Sunday a month which I am not to sure about. What do I say?

If you tell us why you wouldn't want to work one Sunday in four we might have a clue what to advise you but as someone who has worked weekends most of my working life either with animals or people I would say they would expect you to do your share or they may not keep you on if it is subject to a probationary period.
In any job ... if you want to keep it then be flexible and work hard, do what they ask within reason,,,,once your established and valued after maybe a year or two you'll find you can start to call the shots and they'll acommodate you because they need you... but in your early months your on trial and as you found with your last job they may be able to replace you with someone else fairly quick
Abbey the hours go with the job. The "Carer Role " and cleaning in health care includes working.Bank Holidays weekends and sometimes night shift and Christmas New Year are usually worked on a rotational basis. If you are not prepared to do this then don't accept the job. It is not fair for them to train you and then you quit or are fired because of one weekend day of work. It will also not show you in a good light for your next job application.
Abbey, please, PLEASE understand that it is NOT UP TO YOU to pick your ideal job and when you will work. You are single, about 30 if I've got it right, and you are still drifting with no direction. You have a lot of years to come. Mr. Right, who may take all problems from your shoulders, does not exist - there may be a Mr. Right but you'll need to pull your weight even if he turns up.
I don't understand the problem about 1 Sunday in 4. You have never said that you are a devout Roman Catholic (which is the only reason I can think of and even then these things can be arranged). So it looks like idleness, a reluctance to put the job first.
It seems as if you want to work to your rules, Abbey, and I'm sorry, but that won't wash with employers. Please sit down and think very carefully about your situation. How you are managing rent/food/clothes-wise I haven't a clue.

Abbey, another thing to consider with this job is not only the very high cleaning standards that will be demanded of you, but there may be some distasteful tasks involved. Are you up to that? Are you detail orientated?
Really think hard about this job, because if you are unsure about the hours,there may be other things that do not suit you and vice versa.

Abbey, whatever we do for a living, we all have to fit social life and home life in around jobs. If you go on a rota for your one Sunday a month, which it sounds like you will, should you need the odd Sunday off you may be able to swap with someone else, but if you can’t, you can’t. Employers need reliable people - they can’t run their businesses without that. You need to show them that you’re reliable and have a good work ethic.
