Do I Take Take A Trip To Where My Interview Is?

why not get a moped cheaper than a car

it is an utter waste of their and your time to apply for a job for which you dont have the ONLY thing you definitely need (a fork lift licence)

You are doing things the wrong way round.  get the licence, then apply for jobs.

6 miles is cyclable in about 30 mins

It's getting confused, Abbey.  I thought you were going on a course to be a fork-lift driver not a job as one.  Can you verify, please?

So yes it's a job interview as forklift driver and a course careers wales are getting me on when my checks are done

You can't possibly go for an interview for a job AS a fork-lift driver when you've had no experience - doesn't make sense!

Well I don't have my CV that I have and told them I'm going on a course they haven't replied

Oh ok.  They know you're not qualified then and they haven't given you an interview date.  Is that right?

I'm not sure you should be having an interview for a job you're not qualified for. Did the advert say training provided?

Abbey have you thought through whether you'd really enjoy this job once qualified. It looks like it's full-time. Where I work there are forklift drivers and it's not easy. You will probably be driving round a warehouse and operating the lifts to pick up loads and then deliver them to somewhere else in the workplace. It means sitting up in a small cab for a lot of the time, you have to be constantly aware of your surroundings so you don't hit anything. You will not be able to use a phone either while you're at it.

I'm not meaning to be negative but based on what you've said before and your attention span I think you'll find it too hard and tiring.
