My gf recently applied for a museum assistant job working for a Regimental Museum via the Jobcentre. She sent her cv and received a letter back from an officer at the Regimental museum stating that he was impressed with her cv but that the Royal British Legion was sponsoring the payment for the position and that the employment criteria demanded that she be either: a disabled ex-serviceman or woman, a widower/widow of an ex- service person or an ex service person. Strangely none of this was mention in the Jobcentre listing. Does this not infringe upon Equal Opportunities?
