Does any one know who does live in work gets paid for 24 hours pay at the national minimum wage while they are sleeping during the night on the premises? The law seems unclear on working time regulations in this field and would appreciate if some members to share their knowledge in this area.

Security Guards seem to manage it. Working time directives won't apply because technically, sleeping in your security office isn't working!
Well i dont know anything about law but i would think if you are still expected to say: get up with the children if you are a nanny in the middle of the night when there crying then yes i would want paid!
