The kids have to attend school on 195 days each year (= 39 weeks) but the teachers have to attend for 200 days (=40 weeks). Some term-time only staff (e.g. dining room assistants) will only work when the pupils are present. Others (e.g. secretarial support staff or laboratory technicians) might be required to be present when the teachers are. (This will vary from school to school).

Some jobs which are basically term-time only (e.g. cleaning staff) might involve working for, say, the last week of the summer holidays.

So, there's not a fixed number of weeks for term-time work. Contracts will vary from school to school and with the type of work carried out.
