I want to get into buying and merchandising, i havent any experience except working in retail for 3 years and realise that i need to start off at the bottom and work my up. Does anybody know where i need to start?

Apply to the head office of any big retail company. It doesn't matter who you work for, once you get that first bit of experience you can go anywhere. You need to look for roles as 'Merchandising Assistant'.

Your retail experience will come in handy. Have a look at www.retailcareers.co.uk, lots of companies advertise on here. You will find most of the roles you need are only advertised through agencies.
