I am no expert but I imagine that experiences would be very different. My mum is a carer for people with Alzheimers and dementia and I know they all have different needs. It seems that many dementia patients remember back to their earlier lives which once again would be very different memories and reactions. I don't know whether any of this is any use to you as it is more opinion but I do get bits of info from my mum when she tells me of her day.

Good luck.
