For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.'added value' is anything that makes the mag appear more valuable to the consumer - so as <B>Ethel</B> said that could be a free gift or a voucher etc anthing your marketing brain can think to latch onto the mag. where as a summer cover promotion is just that - the word promotion is generally used to mean "idea" intended to forward the subject matter e.g. the idea "could" be to stick a free handbag on the mag BUT what they more likely looking for is a marketing idea in its traditional sense e.g. a catchy tag line a sales pitch in a few words, maybe a mice design idea, cover layout etc.
