I sent my CV off to an estate agents on Monday after seeing an ad in the local paper looking for a weekend sales and lettings negotiator. How long do you think it would take them to contact me if they wanted to ask me to come for an interview?

Hard to say, my sister is applying for jobs and is still getting invited for interviews 2 months after sending in cv!

I was really lucky as i literally sent a letter to a few estate agents,applying for jobs, and a few days later one replyed and i have now been offered the job. But one of my friend had to wait at least 3 weeks for an interview, depends on how quickly they want the sales negotiator. good luck!
