Hi, my daughter is about to start her 3rd year of a psychology degree can anyone tell me what job opportunities there are with a psychology degree

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.My oldest daughter, here in the U.S., has a master's degree in psychology (2 year post graduate degree) and is working on her doctorate. In the mean time, she has developed a successful practice (licensed by the individual State) involving family counseling. her Doctorate will allow prescribing medications, for which she now consults with a psychiatrist. Of course, I have no way of knowing if this fits for the U.K. By the way, she's found that most of what her old fashioned mother and father preached while she was growing up wasn't to far off the mark, though she hates to admit it...

Thank you both for your input - have been to the website and does give a lot of good information. Clanad - Funny how kids never take what you say seriously until someone else has told them the same thing. She is just about to start with exams so thought I would do some research for her into job opportunities as she is panicking about getting some work experience this summer.
