lots of differend CAMRA's apparently...in the uk theres an observatory....do to with research etc ....is it that...the web address ends ac.uk...... i always thought that was to do with education but prob wrong there!

anyway that particular one is http://www.cclrc.ac.uk/Activity/ChilboltonFaci lity

mkt - could be it

*&^%.acuk is reserved for acedemic establisments
The thing that MKT found is the Chilbolton Advanced Meteorological Radar. Its a dish pointing at the sky just outside Winchester, Hampshire. Run as a research facility - the Met Office (now in Exeter, but used to be nearby in Bracknell) and Reading University tap into it a lot. In the US (who seem even more able to invent acronyms than the military) use the acronym for Coastal and Maritime Resources Assessment (sounds a bit like quality to me) and Complementary Alternative Medical Research into Astma. Are we getting any closer??

I found the chilbolton thing myself and it's not that. The closest I've come to what I think the person's after is 'credit accumulation mechanism'... but can't get the rest. Thanks
