See if your local council have a standby register. Many councils do have these days. It's like their own in-house temp agency. You get to work in all sorts of departments, and you often get the benefits that go with council working. I used to get paid holiday, local government pension, employee discounts - the lot.

Try all the usual big ones: Kellys, Adecco, Randstad, Pertemps.

There are quite a few around the business district - Spring Personnel on Duke St, Adecco and Kelly on North John Street.
A bit further up on Castle St there is also Manpower, Office Angels and Blue Arrow. Those are the larger ones I know of, there must be more around that area, good luck

Hays is really good and is based on tithebarn street (silkhouse court), i worked for them for a while, speak to dave booth or nicky price
