You are normally entitled to bring a colleague to a disciplinary hearing (which one can choose to be a union representative, if one has one). Why not choose a personal friend, who you should go over your evidence with beforehand to practice what you plan to say. Suggest you use that person to take notes of the conversation. Good luck.

Have a look at the above website, I'm sure you will find information there. It gives best practice, and most companies will base their disciplinary procedures on those principles.

Are you sure that you are not entitled to a rep? I would have thought that as soon as you are a memner, you would have their protection.

Good luck.

No harm in trying this link http://www.unison.org.uk/join/unionbenefits.asp you can phone up to midnight it says, ask if you join, will you be represented immediately..
