1. sometimes, you can schedule interviews during your lunch break.
2. depending on your current work schedule, you could try early in the morning (before you go to work) or late in the afternoon (after you get off work).
3. if you have irregular days off (like a tuesday) then schedule the interview then.
4. depending on the situation, when you are setting up the interview, let the interviewing company know that your current employer is not aware that you are seeking another job - they may be more willing to "stretch" their normal interviewing times. (or they could think that you are somewhat lacking in ethics / disloyal for "going behind the back" of the company you are already working for...)
5. some companies may have preliminary testing or group interviews that may be pre-scheduled, and you cannot customize the time to fit your current schedule.
6. another thing to consider is taking one or two whole days (personal / vacation) off from work and doing multiple back-to-back interviews all on the same day.
7. see if you can do pre-interviews over the phone before-hand to see if there is a possibility of a "good fit" - save on wasted time-off from work for "no reason".
