ditto above, I'm an IT Freelancer of over 10 years experience, have worked with many, mnay people over the years, nobody I have ever heard of has got a job via this route.
I'm sure somebody must have, but they are in a distinct minority.
Like in many other careers, I'm afraid IT is the same - the good jobs require a lot of experience. If only I had a pound for every person who assumed I was overpaid because I was "just a bit handy with computers", completely overlooking the many of years of study, hard work and cr@p pay at the bottom of the career ladder!
The only way in (without experience) is to find someone who will recruit a raw trainee...these positions do exist, but competition is high.
Good luck, its a rewarding career once you are up and running, but I can't help looking at the Computeach courses with a healthy degree of cynicism.
