What happens if I've taken too much holiday when I hand in my notice? For example, I get 25 days a year so works out at just over 2 per month, I've taken about 14 with more booked off late this month, so if I hand my notice in after that, what will they do?

They will deduct it from any pay you are due.

yes becks, its happened to me too in the past, had to pay it all back.

they'll take it off your final pay check

But for what it's worth, I'm sure you still accrue holiday days while you are working your notice.
