I am a Student and am so desperate for a job but it seems that nobody wants to employ me because I don't have any experience. Does anyone know of any job vacancies that don't require any experience and where I can find them? Thank you.

If you are over 18, bar work is a usual way of gaining work experience.

The large stores such as M&S, BhS and Argos also take on a lot of students, as do the major supermarkets.

This may not be your career choice but it gives a foot into the work market and valuable experience.

Good luck!
go to a restraunt and work as a waiter or a kitchen assistant they always need staff
you should get work experience in your chosen field. iut will likely be unpaid but will be good on your cv and the dole are good about it in the meantime

Does your uni / college have a student Jobshop? They will have a good range of work opportunities.

My Uni does have a jobshop but it's Durham University and I live in London so the vacancies are only for that region.
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner on this, but does your jobshop take part in the vacation link scheme? this is a scheme whereby students from one university can use the services of another in their home region during vacation time? If you can't contact Durham to find out, contact NASES (just google NASES for contact details) and they might be able to tell you.
