Hi
I posted the other day about wanting to move on from my job and prehaps be a teaching assistant.
I sent off for some bumpf that arrived this morning for a home learning course. The diploma for the Teaching Assistant is 539.99!!!!!!!!!!
The replies I received from my last question (thank you again) said about not needing qualifications to do this position, so is this a con??? Or will it show I am really eager to do the job by doing a home learning course?

I know there are no teaching assistant jobs going at the school as I know them all and I think a position would only come up if one of them left (which I can't see happening) I felt the thing I had going for me was that I know the kids at this school and know the place and teachers, if I went for a position at another school I wouldn't have anything to show except maybe this diploma?
Has anybody done this course? What do others think, is it a con? God I'm so confused!!! I don;t know what to do for the best, I just want to get out of this hole I'm in!!!!!
