hairdressing course.....

I want to do a basic hairdressing course just to be able to cut my childrens hair. Does anyone know where I can do one?

Most local tech colleges have non-exam courses for people who just want to learn the basics. the other way you can learn is by getting a book from the library - most have copies of exam course books with good, clear illustrations in. I found them very useful when I wanted to do the same thing. the other way is to just watch your own hairdresser when she cuts your hair - I've learnt loads like that! I cut hair for my mates now - it pays for me to go to the salon!
