Waitressing / Bar Work
4 Answers
I need to earn some extra cash and was thinking about trying to find some evening work as a waitress or in a bar (I work full time during the day so can only do evenings and weekends). What's the best way to go about this - should I go into restaurants and ask the manager or is it better just to call and ask? I've looked everywhere for adverts, but I can't find anything.
Thanks

You might consider a bit a flexibility; you mentioned bar/waiting on work, but there's other work in pubs & restaurants. You might have to start with something else first. Having done it, I can tell you washing pots isn't as bad as it sounds, in fact it's relatively easy work.
