If you mean a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check - i have worked for them n its definitely 4 - 6 weeks - you should receive a copy in the post n your potential employer should receive a copy at the same time. However, if there are any anomolies - eg. if someone does not declare a conviction and one is discovered you will be notified and questioned by the potential employer regarding this. If you have declared a conviction then a risk assessment will be put into place and it will be discussed with you and pot. employer and HR dept if appropriate.
