jobs for 14 year olds

i'm 14 and need a job OTHER than things like baby sitting and paper rounds. i would like a saturday job somwhere eg. caf� or shop but WHERE, and how do i apply? please help........Rona x

i recently recieved a work permit, or letter from my headteacher to allow me to find a small job.
im not really sure where abouts to look for a job, i asked the corner shop but they have enough staff.
anybody have any good ideas?

wow isnt it amazing the amount of 14 year olds that need jobs i need 1 aswell lol ive rang up all the loacl hairdersssers and cafes today and a few said they would rig back so i highly recomed doing that and i no what you meen about the paper round i could never do that in the rain and stuff but if you can go for it you get rely good tips at christmas one year my cousen got �250 and he delived the advertizer to 100 houses so he didnt go far and got a lot so good luck to you all hope this helps even though is a bit of a waffle xx

yeh paper rounds are tough, this is an easy way of making money without much effort not an amazing amount making but its really good, i too am looking for a job xD ringing the cafes certainly doesnt beat going to them because you know who ur talking to then.

but you can do this in free time give it a go

im 14 too and i did dog walking once when i was 12 but it wasnt for i have 2 dogs to walk anyway! my mum said to ask in shops and cafes but i think im to neverous to ask HELP WHAT SHALL I DO ????

Hi Rona, I am also 14 and today I was looking for a job. All I did was go around shops aasking how old you had to be to work there. Most of them said 16 years old, but when I went into the sweet shop, they gave me an email address, and greggs told me to have a look online. Unfortunately, Greggs have not vacancies for the particular area i want, but they might have near you. Good luck!! x

Hi Rona, I am also 14 am I went job hunting today. I went into alot of shops asking how old you had to be to work there and unfortunately most said 16. However the sweet shop gave me an email address, and greggs told me to go online. I am sure the sweet shop is noe use, but Greggs might have a vacancy. If not, just go around your local town centre and ask for any jobs for your age. Hope this helps, good luck!! x

Have you got a Job yet? I'm 14 aswell, I'd also like a Job, I've got an offer at a Hair-Salon but I was hoping on seeing what was out there first, I wish there was a Saturday Job that included teaching people about History like... A Tour Guide at a History Museum, just a pity I don't live near one here in Sheffield... But nevermind that, did you get a Job? How? What kind of place? Doing what? Thanks - Gabriel.
