Has anyone worked in Dubai before??

Just wandering what its like and if its as good as I hope it will be.

My mum lives out there, she has worked for a real estate but unfortunaltly he realed lies to her and didn't actually earn enough money to pay her but on the flip side my step dad works there and loves it!! he does work along the lines of building and maintenance and has done for 7 years!! working 2 years in dubai then taking 6months of to come back to england!! (not jelous at all!!) but he does work long hours to get it done, hope that helps
