Hi my name is marcos and i really need a job. Im turning 18 this september and I got my girl pregnant. I dont know what to do but i know it will help to get a job. Im learn real quick and im still in school. So it has to be a part time job because my goal is to get my highschool diploma. Im real scared but that means i have to work twice as hard. Well hope you could help me or just give me some advise. I think when my dad finds out she is pregnant hes going to kick me out of my house and also her parents are to.

I thought my mum would do that when my bro got his girl pregnant, but she was ok. Well done also for not running away from your responsibilities, thats a brave thing to do. As far as jobs, yes try local papers, ask in shops, ring round a few places too. Good luck!

Hi Marco,
I am very pleased that you have the guts and determination to stick by your girlfriend and you are trying to provide for her and the baby. I also thinks it's great that you still want to achieve success in school. Please don't give up in that. You will have a long hard slog the next few years, but doing something is better than nothing. I agree with hyrdogoose that it would help to know what skills you have, what you would like to do or what experience you have. But if you are desperate (as much as it sucks) the job centre/agency is the best place to get a job asap. Keep your head up and work hard. Goodluck!
