Employer wants proof of certificate

I have been in my job for 15 months and my employer is asking me for proof that I have a teaching qualification. Teaching is not a big part of my job, but we do sometimes have students. I did a teaching module for my diploma, but individual certificates aren't issued for each module. I've shown the assignment I did and the signed feedback form as well as the diploma certificate, but this is apparently not good enough (even though this was what I showed when I first started the job). It seemed to be enough then, but isn't enough now. I can get a print out from the university but it will cost me �25 and my employer won't pay for it. Should I just bite the bullet and pay the �25, if not, what else can I do? I think my employer is being unreasonable

If they have a legitimate reason for asking for it, then I would personally just pay the �25 as you can always use the information for any future jobs.
