having emailed the scholl they state - "It's a full time 36 hours per week but can either be term time plus 2 weeks or full time including school holiday working. To suit candidate.."
anyone help on what his actually means???

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Ok term time plus 2 weeks means you will work 39 weeks of the year when the school has pupils in it and then 2 weeks (10 days) during the holidays. To confuse you a little more if you work PD Days/Baker Days/Teacher training days - these will be deducted off the 10 days you have to work during the holidays. So the norm is 5 PD days per year therefore you would probably find yourself working only 5 days over the 13 weeks of the childrens holidays.
Now I am full time in a secondary school so I have a 52 week contract and due to my time in local govt I have accumulated 29 days holiday equivalent of approx. 6 weeks. If you have no previous local government employment you will probably be started on 20-22 days holidays per year.
How they have advertised it is good. It gives the opportunity to get the right person for the job by offering flexibility - those with young children would need child care during the holidays when they were working.
