Shifts vary but, where I used to work (near to a large sorting office), we saw several postmen arriving for work at 4.30am. each morning.

Chris
i start my shift at 6.30-12.30 and others 05.00-13.00, great job in the summer!!!!!!!!!!!
5.15 am monday to friday till 1.33
4.45 am saturday till 11.33

Actual working time varies. On the delivery I have, Tuesday and staurday are probably the only days I get to finish early, whereas most days I end up going over. Others in the same office can finish way before they are supposed to - it all depends on the walk (route) and the postmen really.
My mate works in the sorting office in Liverpool at starts at 9.45pm.
1:33 and 11:33? Those are very specific times!
