Ive been off work now for a month due to bad back, i have been to a investigation meeting about a different mater.i have another doctors note for 2 more weeks. can i be suspended while on sick form work.

I don't see why not. I've occasionally had to make people redundancy when they are off sick (but not because they are sick).

Sus4 it sounds as if you are concerned that you may be suspended over the 'different matter' rather than the bad back. I would imagine you are still able to be suspended over something that has already happened, whether sick or not, sorry .
If , however, you are suspended over your sickness, your boss could be in big trouble.
