job security

im 31 years old a telescopic forklift driver working for a house builder i have a 18 year mortgage but i know when this site finishes there will be no more work for them i need a job where i know im not going to get laid off and be able to pay my mortgage without having to sell my house i worry all the time its no good

i'm afraid you are in the same position as the rest of us. There is no job security anywhere. there is nowhere that could garuntee you the company isnt going to fold, work isnt going to dry up etc

Civil servants still have more job security than most of us - though its not the 'job for life' it once was.
