i am 14 years old... and i am looking for a job. I need to work someplace close to home. do you know any stores who hire 14 year olds?? ty for your time

good for you !! i think most places take on only 16 and over but you could try a local hotel as they employ 14yr olds where i am as waitresses. if you have a small local shop you could try them also. good luck to you and let us know how you get on.

try small independantly run cafe's and tea shops, when I was 14 they always used to take on staff under 16. sometimes it was only dish washing but others were waitressing. also, some pubs may take on 14yo's for kitchen work.

Try local hairdressers too. Most of them will take on 14 year olds to help out around the salon.
