I wouldn't say I hate my boss(es) but I don't agree with some of their ideas and actions especially when the very reason for doing our job is so far from sight and making the place look tidy and lets play with more paperwork to look important is number one priority, you start to lose respect for them. It's hard to work for someone you don't respect.
You should try working in HR. It's nothing but gossip here. Does my head in!

But at the end of the day I don't come to work for a social life.
Hi Spanky,

I found this this morning which is great :

yep and my boss came out as the most toxic boss anyone could have!

Well I have a dream boss. He actually is a good bloke. Everyone has small tiffs with the gaffer but it looks like I'm pretty lucky.
My mentor and first line supervisor were so bad to work with that I left the job. At the end of the day, it's a means to an end, and the way they made me feel, it just wasn't worth my while continuing with them.
At my exit interview, I had the opportunity to tell HR of all the problems, something I had spoken to the dep't boss about, but no action was taken by him. I hope that HR take the issues more seriously.
Have to say spanky, I hate my job but the people I work with are truely fantastic (particularly my boss) and I feel so lucky to spend time with them, all we do is laugh all day, and laughter is good for the soul, so I really am lucky. Sometimes it comes down to company ethos as to how people act/react.
I like my job but my boss can be a bit of a nightmare he's 59 but its more likely working for a toddler half the time! Also his breath smells so back it stinks out his room!!!!!
Spanky - couldn't agree with you more ! I try really really hard in my work, and my clients are always happy with the work that I do for them, but apparently thats not good enough for the bosses! The support staff in my place are fantastic - a really good bunch of girls and boys, but the bosses are really showing their true colours at the moment (and it ain't a nice shade!).

I've been on Monster.co.uk - I'd suggest you do the same if your place is as bad.

Hope things get better for you
