Subject `Food`

My daughter wants to be a doctor.

She is choosing her options for next year.

She does not know whether to choose `food` or `textiles`?
They were given a booklet with all the subjects but it does not have any information on `food`.
Did anyone take this as a subject course and what exam? She is hoping it may have a link towards her career.

It's Food Technology. Some of the work is based on temperatures/acidity and is quite scientific from what I remember so the exam includes questions on that.

From what you say that sounds the best option. Plus she'll learn how to cook!
